Phil Hellmuth Attacked and Murdered By Shawn Sheikhan?

According to Wikipedia, Phil Hellmuth was attacked and murdered by Shawn Sheikhan over a bad beat at the Aussie Millions. (See Screenshot)


Apparently it was just a prankster having some fun and Phil Hellmuth is alright. It was not the first time vandels edited wiki pages:

Someone changed his Wiki page to "He was removed in a wheelchair, and died shortly after." Although, Wiki volunteers fixed the mistake within minutes, many people were misinformed and including The Washington Post and other media outlets.

In 2005, John Seigenthaler was fingered as being directly involved in the Kennedy assassinations of both John, and his brother Bobby. His page was not corrected until 4 months later.

Wikipedia gets more than 6 million visitors a day and prides itself on allowing anyone with an internet connection to contribute or edit content. But with the recent mischief from many anonymous users, Jimmy Wales (co-founder of Wikipedia), expressed his concerns of changing how Wiki works so that not just anyone can edit pages.

This nonsense would have been 100% prevented by Flagged Revisions," writes Wales on a Wikipedia discussion forum. "It could also have been prevented by protection or semi-protection, but this is a prime example of why we don't want to protect or semi-protect articles — this was a breaking news story and we want people to be able to participate (so protection is out) and even to participate in good faith for the first time ever (so semi-protection is out).
